Hello everyone,  Today the children celebrated 100 Days of School. They learned about the quantity of 100 along with the numeral, listened to a story about 100 Days of School, answered questions about 100 and were presented with 100 Days of School certificates. In PBL, the children listened again to their self-made story from last week, Stomp & Astra’s Big Adventure. They answered questions about the characters, settings and events in the story and they made a story related book mark. In phonics, the children reviewed the letter Jj. They identified words beginning with the letter and used the letter’s sound to blend unfamiliar words. Additionally, the children read an interactive phonics story and created CVC words with the short vowels Ee & Ii. In Chinese class, the children continued to celebrate the 100 Days of school by creating special 100 Day hats, sorting and counting out their objects into ten groups of ten and tasting some of the 100 tiny  cup cakes made in class. Please find this week’s optional homework in the children’s school bags. 每一天NB的孩子们都会将一根数棒放入个位数的小桶中，用来计算到校的天数。当个位数桶里的数棒达到十根时，孩子们会用皮筋将它们捆成一捆，放入十位数的小桶中。通过这种方式，孩子们不仅记录了自己到校的天数，还直观地理解了个位数与十位数之间的关系，同时也在过程中感受到“我在长大”的自豪感。         今天是本学年第100个上学日，这是一个特别的日子！在今天的中文数学课上，孩子们将所有的数棒捆在一起，放入代表百位数的小桶中，标志着他们共同度过了100天的学习时光。为了庆祝这一特殊的日子，孩子们一起制作了100个小蛋糕。他们将蛋糕分成每盘10个，然后通过“10个10个数”的方式数到100。最后，孩子们共同享用了自己亲手制作的蛋糕，感受了集体劳动的成果和分享的快乐。孩子们还制作了一顶非常有趣的帽子。这顶帽子由十张纸条组成，每张纸条上贴有十个贴纸…… 你能数出来这顶帽子上一共有多少个贴纸吗？孩子们还从家里带来各种小物品，她们每人领取一张黑纸，每张纸上有10个圆圈，孩子们需要在每个圆圈里摆放10件物品。 全部摆放完成后，更容易10个10个数到100， 直观感受到“百”作为一个整体单位的构成方式。今天的庆祝活动以数学概念贯穿始终，孩子们在手工制作—游戏摆放—集体分享等环节中深化对十进制和数位的认识，也在集体协作与庆祝氛围中增强了对校园生活的归属感和成长自豪感。每一天，孩子们都会将一根数棒放入个位数桶中记录到校天数。当个位数桶满十根时，他们便用皮筋捆成一捆放入十位数桶。这个过程让孩子们直观理解了个位与十位的关系，也在日常中感受到成长的喜悦。 Daily Menu Moments

Hello everyone, In today’s PBL lesson, the children focused on sequencing the events of a story. To begin with we discussed what happened at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the stories The Gingerbread Man and The Runaway Pancake. Then, the children used sequencing cards to retell each story. Once the stories were complete, we compared and contrasted the events in each. In phonics, the children continued to learn about the letter Jj with a focus on making jelly. The children helped to make jelly by mixing a jelly powder with water, whisking it and pouring it into moulds. The children observed how the state of the jelly changed from a powder like substance, to water to the final jelly product. The discovered the texture, scent and taste of the jelly as we created small jelly animals. In Chinese class, the children listened to the story Lucky Money and learned about the Lunar Festival’s custom of the elderly giving red envelopes (Hong Bao0 to the younger generation. They began to understand that this is an expression of love and how they can show gratitude for receiving the gift. 今日中文课上，孩子们一同聆听了关于“压岁钱”起源的民间故事《压岁钱的故事》。故事生动讲述了一个名叫“祟”的小妖怪，这只小怪兽特别调皮，总爱在除夕夜出来吓唬熟睡的孩子，后来人们发现用红纸包上八枚铜钱放在孩子枕边，就能吓跑“祟”——原来铜钱里藏着八位仙人暗中守护熟睡的小孩。因为“祟”与“岁”同音，这种保佑孩子平安的钱就被称为“压岁钱”，寄托着长辈对孩子辟邪安康的深切祝福。通过这个充满想象力的传说，孩子们不仅了解了春节习俗的由来，也在故事中感受到中国传统里那份温暖而朴素的情感传承，体会年文化中蕴含的守护与关爱之意。 Daily Menu Moments

在今天的艺术课上，孩子们延续了上周的魔法圈创作，为已完成的圆形图案进一步添加细节。孩子们选用不同形状的纸片，尝试以对称的方式进一步给作品添加艺术元素，逐步丰富画面的层次与结构，使每一幅作品都更贴近曼陀罗艺术的风格特点。在细致的拼贴与装饰地实践中，孩子们加深了对对称与图案之美的感受。 今天的中文数学课上，我们结合春节“赶年兽”的传说，在游戏情境中复习了不同形式的pattern。孩子们俩俩一组用锣和鼓配合敲击，依次模仿了“AB”（咚—锵）、“AAB”（咚咚—锵）、“ABB”（咚—锵锵）和“AABB”（咚咚—锵锵）四种节奏规律，通过合作敲出正确的声音规律，一次次成功“吓跑”了年兽。游戏后，孩子们还完成了与春节主题相关的规律练习：观察以生肖、对联、灯笼、红包等元素组成的规律序列，找出空缺位置的图案，并剪贴补充完整。整节课孩子们在活泼的游戏中加深了对规律的理解，也感受到了传统节日的趣味。 Daily Menu Moments

Hello everyone, In today’s PBL lesson, the children created their own story by determining who the characters were, where the setting takes place and the details of the story by selecting pictures and sequencing the events step by step. We will produce the book and a front cover for this next week.  In phonics, the children used an interactive word machine to create simple CVC words and read an interactive story in which each word can be segmented and blend. In PE class, the children continued to practice movement skills such as running, jumping and squatting as well as ball control skills including throwing and two-handed catching. In Chinese class, the children continued to learn about the Lunar Festival and the Year of the Horse. They learned about the characteristics of a horse such as head, body, tail and legs before creating and decorating their own craft horses made from paper shapes, stickers and yarn. As you may have seen, next Friday will be our 100 Days of School celebration. Please have your children wear their school uniforms on this day.  在今天的中文课上，孩子们首先通过童谣复习十二生肖的故事，巩固了生肖的顺序，并更深地了解到即将到来的农历新年是马年。接着，课课堂来到了动手操作技能的环节，孩子们选择通过两项手工中的一项来提升精细动作与手眼协调能力：1，“十二生肖拼图”，孩子们需辨识并剪下与图片中特定形状空白处相匹配的图形，进行准确配对与粘贴，确保生肖图案完整衔接；2，“装饰生肖马”，孩子们自由选择各色雪梨纸，运用剪刀和胶棒为马的形象创作出五彩斑斓的装饰图案。今天的中文课将传统文化认知与手工技能相结合，引导幼儿在动手实践中加深对生肖文化的理解，同时锻炼其使用工具的能力和小肌肉群的发展。 Daily Menu Moments

各位亲爱的爸爸妈妈们，大家好呀！ 宝贝们第二节课的表现依然超级棒！💡今天我们学习的高频词汇是“like”，依然是一个高频使用超级有用的魔法词，宝贝们可以用它开启各种关于自己的信息，比如“I like apples.” ” I like to read.”这样。💡在阅读部分，我们读了教材配套的Lesson 1词汇读本《At School》。宝贝们可以想象一下，都是围绕着“We like to … at school.”这个句型展开的哦。在宝贝们熟悉句型之后我们还可以拓展到不同的场所：At home/ in the park/in the zoo 等等。💡通过读Student book P.18-27 “We go to school”和“I like”这两个小故事，宝贝们要学会用“I see……at school.”和“I like……at school.”这个句型来表达自己。💡口语部分，今天我们主要复习了上次自我介绍的练习，并且把今日句型也加入了进来： I like … / I like to …。小朋友们可以在家里先进行练习，第五周我们将把口语部分也作为打卡内容哦！💡今天我们学写✍的字母是“Pp”和“Tt”哦。宝贝们要注意啦，两个字母的发音都是很轻的哦。我们还可以通过一些衍生词汇来练习发音哦，比如说“pp pig”，“tt turtle”，有的宝贝还能自己说出新词，好厉害呀！💡作业纸上的字母✍宝贝们可以每天用一点时间去练习字母描红，除了怎么作业，我也提供一些电子版，大家可以重复利用哈~别忘了也拍照打卡给Stella老师哦。💡自然拼读部分，今天学的是“ap”字母组合，我们继续用慢速连读和双手拍合的方式来进行练习。初学的小朋友还无法很熟练合音很正常，多听多接触慢慢都会有sense的。 Stella很期待收到大家的作业哦！ 本周书本复习阅读内容Student book P.18-27，两个无字小故事还是鼓励大家进行拓展，但这里提供一下每一页的引导思路给大家参考：✨1. We go to school:封面：I go to school. I see schoolbus / my teacher/friends…  Picture 1：I see the chair/books/computer… at school.Picture2：I see the toys/clock/… at school.Picture 3：I see the trees/flag/… at school. ✨2. I like封面：I like crayons;Picture 1：I like pencils.Picture2：I like paint.Picture 3：I like pictures.
