Hello everyone,

Today the Nursery group went on a bear hunt in Century Park. We followed the adventures from the popular story book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by walking through long swishy grass, squishy, squelchy mud, through a snow storm and to the bear’s cave.

When we found the bear at first, we ran for our lives. But, as it happened to be a friendly bear, we ended up giving the bear a hug and presented it with flowers that we had picked during our adventure.

In the afternoon, we reviewed phonics by spelling out CVC words, participated in continuous provision and finished off making special gifts for some very special people who will be celebrated this Sunday.

Please find this week’s optional homework in the children’s school bags.
