In today’s PBL lesson, the children continued to learn about what lies below the depths of the ocean. They listen to a story entitled Let’s Explore Under the Sea, participated in an associated I-Spy game, carried out the movements of ocean life through dramatic role-play, completed some ocean themed activity sheets and fished for ocean creatures in our water play tray.
In phonics, the children created a craft X-ray of a fish to correspond with this week’s letter Xx.
In Chinese class, the children continued to learn numeral recognition and number sequencing. They carried out a task in which they ordered numbers from 1 to 20 and back from 20 to 1 using stickers.
今天中文数学课上,孩子们继续学习20以内的数序与序数概念。通过“钓鱼”的情景游戏,孩子们亲身体验了从不同方向数数时,同一个物体所处位置会发生变化,并在互动中巩固了20以内的数字顺序,初步理解“第几个”的含义。随后的纸上练习中,孩子们需要在排队等候的海洋动物中,分别找出从左往右数的第17位和从右往左数的第16位,并按要求圈出正确答案。最后,孩子们需要根据箭头提示,用书写或者贴数字的方式将所有动物从1到20标出位置,进一步强化了数字排列与序数的对应关系。整节课在轻松有趣的氛围中帮助孩子们巩固了数序知识,初步建立了序数概念。
