Hello everyone,
In today’s lesson, the children became little sailors and transported cocoa beans and chocolate throughout the world. We began by recalling some of the details from yesterday’s lesson about maps and the world. The children listened to how cocoa is produced and shipped from farmers to factories and on to shops. We then sang along to the classic song Row, Row, Row Your Boat before setting sail with paper boats on small oceans transporting our own cocoa and chocolate throughout the world.
Please be aware that tomorrow we will have a field trip. Kindly bring your children to school at 8:30. Our bus will depart at 9:00. Thank you in advance.

🔍 多种感官，认识材料
在认识材料的环节，孩子们通过看一看、摸一摸、闻一闻的方式，仔细观察了白醋和小苏打的特征：
- 白醋：无色透明，闻起来酸酸的，有一点点刺激的气味。孩子们学会了“用手轻轻扇闻”的安全方法，值得表扬！
- 小苏打：白色的、细细的粉末，摸上去滑滑的，像面粉一样。
我们还一起讨论了它们的用途：白醋不仅是厨房里常见的调料，还可以用来清洗水垢、去除异味；小苏打除了清洁功能，还常被用来制作面包、饼干等食品。孩子们惊讶地发现——原来科学就在厨房里！
🧪 观察实验，见证神奇
最令人期待的环节来啦！当白醋遇上小苏打，会发生什么呢？孩子们睁大眼睛，观察到杯子里瞬间冒出大量小气泡，“咕嘟咕嘟”的泡泡不断涌上来。随后我们加入了可可粉，白色的泡泡摇身一变，成了“魔法巧克力泡泡”——这下孩子们的欢呼声更热烈了！
👐 动手操作，乐在其中
每个孩子都亲手体验了实验过程：用小勺取粉、用滴管滴液、仔细观察变化……一双双小手忙得不亦乐乎，一张张小脸上写满了惊喜与专注。

今天的实验不仅让孩子们直观感受到了“酸+碱会产生气体”这一有趣的现象，更在动手操作中锻炼了手部精细动作和观察能力，也在交流中愿意主动说出“我看到泡泡了”“变成巧克力色了”等自己的发现。
