◦ 闪卡游戏What’s missing: 模仿课堂小游戏，将单词写在卡片上，读一遍后爸爸妈妈拿走其中一个，让宝贝回忆哪个单词消失了
2⃣️ 📖故事&单词拼读 ：
◦ 宝贝们一起阅读了课本P36-41的有趣故事《Pam Pig》, P52-57的小故事《Rip Is It》！
◦ 在故事里，我们重点练习了 CVC单词 (辅音-元音-辅音) 的拼读：Pam, pig, can, Pat, cat, sat, sit, Rip, ran, tag。
◦ CVC单词挑战： 把今天学的CVC单词（如 cat, sit, ran) 写出来或画出来（比如画只猫，旁边写 cat），让宝贝尝试拼读。重点在于鼓励宝贝尝试发出每个音，并给予大大的表扬！ 读错了也没关系，耐心引导。
Nursery Reinforcement Class – Daily Review
Today we continued preparing for our end-of-week speaking task by reviewing the sentence pattern “I like to eat…” We then introduced the questions “What do you usually eat for breakfast?”, “What do you usually eat for lunch?”, and “What do you usually eat for dinner?” The children enjoyed talking about their favourite meals and practised answering in full sentences, helping to build both their confidence and speaking skills.
Next, we played a fun speaking game to reinforce the new language. The children took turns throwing a sticky ball at the board and then answered using the sentence pattern, “I usually eat (food) for (breakfast/lunch/dinner).” Everyone was excited to participate, and it was a great way to practise speaking in an engaging and active way.
We also reviewed our sight words through another interactive game. A selection of sight words was written on the whiteboard, and the teacher called out a word. The children raced to find it, erase it, and then read it aloud. This activity helped strengthen their word recognition, listening skills, and reading fluency.
To finish our lesson, we enjoyed guided reading, focusing on reading simple sentences and identifying key vocabulary within the text. The children showed increasing confidence as they recognised familiar words and discussed their meanings.
We ended the day with story time, reading The Greatest Adventure and Baby Goes to Market. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to both stories, making predictions and sharing their ideas throughout. They were so engaged that they asked for one more story, but unfortunately, we ran out of time!
