Hello everyone,
We’ve come to the end of our first week in Nursery B. The children have all made great strides in becoming familiar with the new environment, new friends and new procedures.
Following today’s circle time calendar activities, the children listened to the story Mix it Up. A story that tells about the results of mixing colours together. After the story, the children individually mixed primary colours to create secondary colours.
In our Chinese lesson, the children learned about working together cooperatively and how to deal with disputes should they arise.
The remainder of the day was spent exploring the tools and materials available within the classroom and outdoor areas.
第一周完美结束了！适应新环境是一个不小的挑战，虽然今天早上来园时还有些孩子脸颊上挂着眼泪，但我们看得出来，孩子们都在努力适应新环境，并展现出了适应能力和积极的态度。为孩子们鼓掌吧！
