Hello everyone,
The morning started off with our daily calendar activities and I was pleased to see a number of children volunteering to help populate the calendar.
Following our outdoor time, the children counted and identified numerals up to ten. We practiced counting friends and body movements.
The children learned about the Five Ls’s of Learning (Legs crossed, hands on laps, lips closed, ears listening and looking at the teacher).
The children were also introduced to our class pets. We have 3 cats that will be available to take home for the weekend.
In the afternoon, the children listened to the story David Goes to School. Following the story the children discussed appropriate behaviours and inappropriate behaviours whilst at school.
