Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities, and outdoor learning, the children reviewed their learning about emotions from yesterday’s class.
The children identified, named and acted out a number of emotions such as happy, sad, excited, calm, etc. They danced and carried out movements to the song If You’re Happy and You Know It and they found the missing pieces from 3-piece jigsaw pieces that displayed a number of the emotions that had been taught.
In Chinese class, the children continued to learn about class procedures such as lining up, following instructions, sharing and taking turns with the aid of some small-world animal models.
Additionally, the children made colour collages by painting a small canvas and gluing items of the same colour onto it.
Finally, I would like to send out my warmest thanks from myself and the rest of the team for making Teacher’s Day so wonderful. We are truly very lucky to have such warm, kindhearted parents and we appreciate you and your celebration of this day very much.
