Hello everyone,

Happy Halloween!

After listening to some popular Halloween songs during this morning’s circle time, the children went trick or treating around the school grounds to gather as many sweets as they could from members of the school faculty.

Following our outdoor learning time, the children learned their first group of high frequency words – I, to and the. They identified each word from within a cluster of other words, observed examples of sentences using the words and tried creating their own short sentences using one or more of the words.

In PE class, the children continued to practice their gross-motor skills through a combination of football drills and exercises.

In the afternoon, the children celebrated the Harvest Festival by attending a small farmer’s market and collecting pumpkin seeds, corn, orange peels, wheat and more.
