Hello everyone,
Happy New Year and welcome back to school.
In today’s PBL, the children made firework artwork to celebrate the beginning of the new year. They used cut paper cups, paint and glitter to make their fireworks come to life on paper.
In phonics, the children reviewed the letter sounds they’ve learned over the past 2 units and played an interactive game in which they had to identify pictures beginning with a specified sound.
In PE class, the children were introduced to American footballs and some basic skills such as throwing and catching the ball along with other gross-motor movements such as crab walking, running and jumping.
In Chinese class, the children presented photos and discussed the activities that they participated in throughout the holidays.
