Hello everyone,
Taking the place of today’s PBL lesson, the children observed a dramatic presentation of the classic fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Nursery teachers led the performance. Following the performance, the characters from the play interacted with the audience.
In phonics, the children learned the high-frequency word ‘and.’ They learned that we use this word to connect two other words such as ‘blue and red.’ The children each found two items from around the classroom and made sentences such as, ‘I have . . . and . . . ‘
and will begin creating their own plum blossom ink blowing craft shortly.
In Chinese class, the children began to learn about the appearance, characteristics and functions of plum blossoms. They will begin creating their own plum blossom ink blowing craft shortly.
Additionally, the children listened to and carried out the actions form the Eric Carle book From Head to Toe.

今天我们在中文课上一起学习了古诗《梅花》。孩子们跟着老师吟诵诗句，理解诗的大意，认识梅花在冬天盛开，不怕冷的特征，看着梅花，孩子们发现它的花不仅好看，还散发一股淡淡的香味呢。 结合古诗孩子们认识了与美丽的自然有关汉字：花、雨、雪。最后孩子们还手握梅花在飘落的雪花（纸片）中轻轻起舞，好像真的走进了古诗里那个又美又安静的冬天。这节课，我们不仅读了诗、认了字，还用眼睛、耳朵和身体感受到了古诗中的画面和情感，真是一次充满惊喜的探索呀！
