Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities, we seized the opportunity of the good weather and took a morning trip to Century Park.
Whilst there, we carried out our usual exploration activities along with a game of hide-and-seek, where the class group had to locate Teacher Steve – hidden amongst the undergrowth. We climbed trees, found sticks and leaves and carried out some math related activities relating to number correspondence, sizes and shapes.
This afternoon, the children carried out a phonics cut and paste activity and began a Christmas craft that will be an ongoing project over the next few days.
