家长朋友们下午好~
孩子们今天可是大饱眼福啦！我们一起去看了神奇的“云冈石窟”，那里居然有一个用高科技3D打印出来的、1:1大小的“音乐窟”复制品，还能边走边听复原的千年古乐，孩子们就像穿越回了北魏的宫廷音乐会现场！这也是孩子们到达后造访的第一站。 来到楼上的展馆后，那些巨大的石像和墙上精细的壁画让孩子们瞪大眼睛，他们怎么也想不明白：古人用那么小的凿子、磨石，怎么就能刻出这么大、这么生动的佛像、乐器和故事画？在听老师讲解壁画故事的时候，一个个小脑袋凑得紧紧的，虽然听不懂“太子诞生”“骑象入城”这些佛教故事背后的深意，但一点都不妨碍他们听得入迷。这些小探索家们还自觉地当起了小侦探，在壁画里寻找古代常用的颜色——比如闪闪的金色、鲜艳的红色、神秘的蓝色，还在石像衣纹和壁画角落里发现了各种有趣的形状和花纹。
这一趟，不只是看了一场震撼的展览，更像亲手摸到了一段活生生的历史。孩子们离开的时候，小脑袋里装满了惊叹号，也许还有几个关于“古人到底有多厉害”的大问号呢！
In today’s English class, our little ones dived into the lovely picture book 📖 Is That You, Santa? 🤶 👇
🍎 It’s Christmas Eve! The kids pricked up their tiny ears, listening to every little sound—they were so sure it was Santa coming with his gifts! They asked Mom and Dad over and over, but it turned out to be something else each time～ Finally, sleepiness took over, and their eyes started to flutter shut. But guess what? When they woke up the next morning, wow! Santa had secretly left tons of presents—how magical is that!

🎅 Today’s learning highlights:
-They got to know and recognize fun core words like Santa, Christmas, toys, gift, stocking, Christmas tree and night;
-They also picked up some daily phrases: “Is that you, Santa?” and “Go back to bed.” With a bit of situational guidance, they happily followed the teacher to mimic these short sentences 👍
-They also had a blast with Christmas sound expressions: “Ring-a-ding-ding!” and “Ho! Ho! Ho!” Everyone joined in imitating the sounds, feeling the fun rhythm of the language.
🎵 We even sang and danced to “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” together—so much joy! All the kids did such an awesome job today! Keep shining, little stars! ✨
