In today’s phonics lesson, the children reviewed the previously taught high-frequency words and were introduced to a new word, ‘all.’ The children learned the meaning of the word, read through simple sentences containing the word and made their own sentences from the structure, ‘We are all …” The children came up with examples such as , “We are all cats” and ‘We are all Elsa.’ Then, we acted out each sentence
In today’s PBL lesson we briefly looked at the sequencing of the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar and created our own story loosely based upon the original book’s events. The children also listen to the story The Cautious Caterpillar.
今天的数学课上，我们一起认识了加号和等号这两个新朋友。我们还是从那个调皮的娃娃开始——他先采了一片荷叶，觉得不够，又采了两片，要算出一共采了多少片荷叶，就得把两次采的合起来数。这就是加号的本领，它表示“合起来”；而等号则告诉我们合起来后的结果。接着，老师又用树上飞来的蜻蜓、花园里的花等例子带着孩子们反复练习，孩子们很快就明白了：加号是把东西合并到一起，等号表示一共有多少。最精彩的是每个小朋友都试着编了一个加法小故事：有的说“我吃了两颗糖，又吃了两颗，一共几颗？”有的说“工地上有一辆挖机，又来了九辆，一共有十辆”……这些可可爱爱的故事，配上数字和符号，让加法和等号变得看得见、摸得着，也让孩子们发现——原来数学就在生活里。
