Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities and outdoor learning time, the children made cornflake cakes using melted chocolate and cereal. Once each child had made their cake, the were allowed to taste their chocolaty creation.
In PE, the children completed an obstacle course that included hopping, jumping, pushing and running.
This afternoon, the children reviewed this unit’s phonics letter sounds and CVC words. Each child was given a word to read and match it to a picture card.
Finally, we had a snowball fight using paper snowballs.
Please find below the attachments for this week’s optional homework. They include all the letter sounds, CVC words and sight words that the children have learned during Unit 2 along with a 2D shape paper folding exercise.
