Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities and outdoor learning time, the children reviewed the names of members of a family and learned the verbs contained in the LUC book such as hug, run, love, read and play.
Using flashcards, the children created their own sentences such as This is my daddy. My daddy plays with me. This is my grandma. My grandma reads with me.
In phonics, the children reviewed the sounds that they’ve been taught and used these sounds to segment and blend a number of simple CVC words such as tap, sat, pat and at.
In PE class, the children carried out a number of football related exercises and drills.
In Chinese class, the children the children presented photos of their recent holidays and discussed the places they went and the activities they did.
Please find optional mathematics homework in your children’s school bags.
