Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities, the children continued to learn about families in their PBL lesson.
The children listened to the LUC story My Family and joined in reciting the text from each page. We had a look at each of the verbs included in the book such as hug, play, run and read. Additionally, we had a look at what other families like to do with each other such as swim, travel, dance etc.
In STEM Class, the children continued to learn about the weather and made their own tornados in small bottles.
In phonics, the class learned the letter Ii. They identified the letter in upper and lowercase and learned vocabulary beginning with the letter.
In Chinese class, the children played musical chairs and learned to compare quantities. Using items from around the classroom the children were able to tell whether 2 sets of items were equal or whether one had more or less than the other.
Please find some optional autumn homework in the children’s bags. This does not need to be returned to school.
