Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities and outdoor learning, the children reviewed this week’s phonics sounds ‘Ss’ and ‘Aa.’
The children have all completed the first page of their school phonics workbooks. Should you wish to review these sounds, please complete the associated pages of the phonics book supplied to you during our Parent Teacher meetings.
The children had their first PE lesson today. This year, the PE activities are based around football (soccer). The children learned some simple ball control skills and used a combination of gross motor skills to make a number of movements.
In PBL, the children reviewed the LUC Family book. More of the children introduced their family photos and completed their family photo picture frame crafts.
In Chinese class, the children reviewed this week’s Chinese characters and used stones to create images of family members.
In the children’s backpacks, you will find a folder containing optional homework. This is not compulsory and you do not need to return it to school. Please use it if you wish to review your child’s learning.
