Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities and outdoor learning, the children were introduced to their first PBL topic Family. They listened to the LUC story My Family and identified the members within the family. We also discussed the diversity within our own families and sang the Finger Family song.
Following the PBL class, the children had their first STEM class. The topic was weather and the children carried out an experiment to create their own clouds and rain within a jar.
Additionally, the children had their first phonics class today. They were introduced to the letter Ss. They identified the letter and it sound and learned some vocabulary that begins with the letter.
In Chinese class, the children learned about estimating and what is a reasonable estimate. Initially they provided estimates of how many items were in a bag then made predictions of how many items could be thrown into a circle.
