Hello everyone,
Following this morning’s circle time calendar activities and outdoor learning time, the children were introduced to the first few phonics letters that they will begin to learn about over the upcoming weeks. The children selected individual letters and decorated them using pencils, crayons and stickers.
In Chinese class, the children were introduced to numbers 1-10 and counting. They counted classroom objects and matched the quantities with the appropriate numerals.
The remainder of the day was spent exploring the tools and materials within continuous provision (self-led learning) at a number of work centers.
