@All Good afternoon everyone!
Today our little explorers kicked off the day with a joyful circle time—singing songs, dancing to the rhythm, and introducing ourselves with big smiles and waving hands!
After that, we headed out to the magical Secret Garden, where we explored musical instruments, scooped and poured in the sandpit, and giggled at the funny reflections in the wobbly mirrors!
Back inside, it was time for Teacher Harriet’s exciting English class! She told us all about the great explorer Marco Polo and introduced the science behind “sink” and “float”. We became little scientists—making predictions and testing different objects in water, then completed a fun cut-and-stick worksheet to show what we learned!
Before lunch, we had free play time where our little friends bonded beautifully—sharing toys, building together, and showing off their lovely social skills.
We ended the morning with happy tummies and full hearts at lunchtime, and now everyone is snoozing peacefully, recharging for more afternoon adventures to come!

今天孩子们通过欣赏绘本故事《丝绸之路》，初步了解了丝绸之路是古代连接中国和西方的贸易之路，骆驼是丝绸之路上的终于交通工具 马可波罗从意大利走到中国大概用了四年的时间，他走的路线里有一段非常有名的丝绸之路，丝绸之路因中国丝绸是贸易运输路上最具代表性的商品而得名，他也是文明交流的大动脉。
丝绸之路上为什么用骆驼作为运输工具呢？因为骆驼的驼峰主要功能是储存脂肪，这些脂肪在骆驼长时间没有食物的情况下可以提供能量。当骆驼在沙漠中长途行走时，驼峰内的脂肪会分解，变成体内急需的营养和水分。
骆驼的脚掌结果宽大，能够增大与沙地的接触面积，有效避免骆驼陷入沙中，骆驼的脚掌底部覆盖着厚厚的肉垫，能够有效的隔绝高温沙粒的灼热，防止骆驼的脚掌被烫伤，还有骆驼是长睫毛，封闭的鼻孔可以帮助隔绝沙尘，骆驼宽大的嘴可以咀嚼多刺的沙漠植物。
故事结束后孩子们进行了沙漠骆驼的手工制作活动。
